Madhur Bazaar is located in Al Hoceima, Mauritania. The name of the street is from the name of a local merchant who used it to advertise his goods. The street was also called after another local merchant, whom the British called'Frenchman Bougaret'. The name of the town's main market is Deira. Madur Bazar is a famous place for trading and is visited by people throughout Mauritania.

 

Deira is an ideal place for cheap shopping, as the prices are very cheap compared to other places in Mauritania. The best time to visit this place for cheap shopping is during the weekdays as the traffic is much lower than on weekends. You can find a number of cheap goods in the bazaar and you can also bargain for some of the items, if you want to make the price more affordable. You will get to see all sorts of local women preparing handicrafts and you will also find some men selling their products at a reasonable rates., snorkeling and surfing.
